I arrived in Hanoi after taking a overnight bus from Hue with my friend. We tried to walk to this hostel but struggled and in the end hailed a taxi. However, he too struggled to find this place.
We eventually managed to fine this hostel just off a busy, main road. It is in the centre, close to many shops and places to eat. My friend and I stayed in a en-suite room however, there are several dorm rooms available at reasonable prices with shared bathrooms.
Breakfast was good, toast and tea. The kitchen is pretty small and not designed for backpackers to cook in but then this is the same for most of Vietnam. There is plenty of cheap, good places to eat within a walking distance.
There is good wifi and several computers for guests. This is great place to meet other backpackers and the staff are super helpful. We booked our trip to Halong Bay from the hostel at a good price.
Overall, a good hostel in the heart of the city, good value for money and safe.
