My friend and I took the night bus from Nha Trang to Hoi An. We thankfully managed to walk to this hotel with no trouble. It is situated amongst several other hotels and in the heart of the city. Many bars and restaurants are within walking distances.
My friend and I shared a en-suite room for a good price. There were no dorm rooms so it is definitely cheaper to share a room with a friend. Breakfast is not included but can be bought in nearby cafes for a good price.
This is town is famously known for tailoring. Most backpackers or travellers that come here do so to get dresses, suits, skirts etc sewn up. You pick your own fabric and can give your own design and they can make it up for you. Now, we were only here for two nights which wasn’t enough time to get anything made. Realistically, three days or more is what is needed depending on who you approach and what you would like made.
The city itself is beautiful, it is possible to walk around and see all the main highlights, the different temples and stores. It is a safe town, not a party place but beautiful place to relax and reflect.
